Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Rachel says that a hairdresser taped Toto r's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Toto r became bloody and upset.

Rachel recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."


Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.

Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, Rachel accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.

Rachel described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The wounds were so severe they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel stated, "Juliann informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth get more info is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
